RESPONSIBILITIES

The 3D graphic designer (f/x) is in charge of creating and producing simulations of particles, fluids, liquids and other visual effects that meet high quality standards. He/she works closely with the supervisor of visual effects and the production team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA in graphic design, 3D animation techniques and computer graphics, visual effects or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, visual effects and 3D animation,
  • Experience in 3D films, advertisements, etc. extensive, including f/x
  • Excellent knowledge of Houdini and Maya software is essential
  • Good knowledge of Nuke software and Fume FX
  • Knowledge of software Softimage, 3ds Max and RealFlow is an asset
  • Thorough technical understanding of the different techniques of visual effects and 3D animation
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating excellent artistic and technical skills an important asset
