KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
- Develop, maintain and redefine competitive employee engagement and support strategies (compensation, terms of employment, perks, benefits)
- Manage artist reviews, artist training and project scheduling to help develop and nurture career growth
- Carry out current HR policies and procedures; implement new policies as and when required
- Advise on employee relations and conflict resolution techniques; provide training and coaching to employees in management and supervision position
- Deal with disciplinary and grievance procedures and practices as needed
- Lead continuous feedback cycle through project mid and post mortems, end-of-show and annual performance review processes
- Represent and nourish studio culture through thoughtful, transparent and focused leadership
- Collaborate with the Office Manage to provide leadership and mentorship to the Facilities team in organizing morale-boosting events
- Represent Scanline VFX at career fairs and industry events; establish relationships with universities and film schools to promote our company and build talent in the industry
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Film Production, HRM, or Communications
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in an artist management or resource management in visual effects, animation or gaming
- Required Skills/Competencies
- Understanding of CG terminology, and a thorough understanding of the processes and disciplines involved in CG post-production
- Proven administrative, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent administrative, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with a diverse range of personality types, perspectives and talents
