CG Generalist
Job Summary:
The CG Generalist is responsible for facilitating efficient, optimized elements in our CG Productions. This work entails a wide range of technical and artistic tasks that help with the flow of production, from Assets to Lighting.
Responsibilities:
• Firm understanding of pipeline, workflow, & tools to help departments run efficiently
• Help with basic tasks in any department
• Diagnose & fix technical and artistic issues in asset & shot departments
• Work with CG Supervisor and/or CG Lead to determine what elements and or other 3D tasks might be required for a particular shot.
• Regularly meeting with CG Leads and Supervisor to apprise him or her of the progress of your work.
Qualifications:
• Must possess technical and artistic communication skills.
• As a generalist you should have an overall understanding of, and at some degree of quality be able to model, texture, light, and animate
• Able to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment.
• Enjoy working in teams.
• A creative problem solver who is organized and critical of his or her own work
