HOW HE DOES HIS MARK
The rigging department at Digital Dimension is a high-energy open environment that focuses on finding efficient and flexible solutions for a diverse range of projects, while simultaneously challenging and supporting the talent on our team.

 

MISSIONS
TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Work with the existing in-house tools to create rigs for characters and props;
  • Create custom rig solutions suitable to the needs of animation and the confines of the production schedule, when necessary;
  • Help troubleshoot animation issues by fixing/improving existing rigs.

 

SUCCESS KEYS
  • Diploma in 3D animation ;
  • Indepth knowledge of Maya and at least beginner knowledge of Python;
  • Solid foundation in deformation requirements, CG rigging tools and principles
  • Familiarity with animation principles and how they affect proposed rigging solutions
  • Knowledge in mathematics, anatomy & physiology, a plus
  • Knowledge of MotionBuilder, the Unreal engine, and PyQT an asset
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and take direction
