Job description:

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Lead actively participates in the artistic orientation and management of artists. He/she participates in closely supervising the teams, ensures that the necessary information is verified and transmitted to enable them to achieve their objectives in terms of quality and deadlines. He/She brings and implements his/her expertise both technically and artistically for the realization of the project.

Qualifications:

– Have a college diploma in 2D and 3D computer graphics, graphic design, or visual arts;
– Have at least five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in lighting in film / television production / animation series or visual effects;
– Have at least 1 year of experience in a Lead Lighting role;
– Bilingualism in English/French, both written and oral;
– Great attention to detail, composition, colours and lighting;
– Experience with GUERILLA RENDER is an asset;
– Be comfortable with the LINUX / UNIX environment;
– A very good knowledge of MAYA software is a plus;
– Mastery of Nuke and PHOTOSHOP;
– Knowing an asset manager like SHOTGUN is an asset;
– Ability to manage a work team;
– Be able to train and guide team members;
– Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status in Canada and be willing to work in Montreal, Quebec;
