Flight School Studio in Montreal is a small team of developers creating unique indie games for console and PC. We’re looking for an experienced Producer to join us. With teammates in Dallas, we tackle the most exciting creative and technical challenges through collaboration and creativity, supported by the Reel FX Creative Studios family. Fun is important, too; we game together, challenge one another to ping pong and enjoy a good cup of coffee.

This position is Production management for a small but ambitious game team. As such, the role crosses high level production structure, day to day task tracking as well as communication between the branches of the studio and external parties. First and foremost, the job is about wrangling and managing the production of the projects happening at the Montreal studio to deliver them effectively and efficiently. However, the position will also encompass communicating with external parties such as PR firms, publishers, and external development houses that Flight School collaborates with throughout development. Flight School is looking for someone who is interested in finding ways to evolve our production practices and excited to work on a small team with a lot of autonomy.


● Create and manage accurate production budgets
● Build production schedule and milestones with Game Directors and Head of Production
● Oversee production of project/s development from start to finish
● Track tasks for team, estimate deadlines, help problem solve problems during production between departments
● Interface with external parties and work to integrate them into the schedule of development
● Coordinate, schedule and attend internal and external meetings throughout the production
● Have a thorough understanding of the current and projected market and target audiences for different games and game platforms
● Take initiative and be forward thinking in handling assigned duties and additional tasks which will aid the function of the organization


● 3-5 years of experience in games or interactive development industries
● Experience with agile development
● Strong organizational and leadership skills
● Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet required deadlines in a collaborative environment
● Must be flexible. Flight School Studio is a growing venture working in cutting-edge and highly creative technologies. As with any mid-size studio, members of the Flight School team wear multiple hats.
