Senior Compositor

Cinesite Montreal is seeking a Senior Compositor to join our VFX Compositing team. The ideal candidate should be motivated and well-organized, with the desire to work within a fast-paced team of highly-skilled and experienced artists.

The Role:  You will be integrating live-action, 3D and digital matte painting elements to create the final shot.

We’d like to talk to you if you have the following:

• Extensive experience working with node-based compositing systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Nuke (essential).
• Strong understanding of photographic principles and CG compositing techniques (essential).
• Proven experience working on high-end projects within a film post-production environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Experience working on stereoscopic projects, either stereoscopic compositing or conversion of monoscopic footage to stereo (advantageous but not essential).
• The ability to take direction from Cinesite’s Producers and Supervisors, in addition to resolving shot-specific challenges independently.
