CG Supervisor

The CG supervisor is responsible for all 3D elements of the films from the VFX department. He oversees the different asset departments and CG shots. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Work with other VFX supervisors towards the evaluation, the design and the production of visual aspects that meet technical and artistic needs of projects
• Identify, define, prioritize and implement all steps in 3D design process
• Introduce innovative working techniques, high quality standards and quality control reviews
• Work with the production department to define needs, goals and schedule of 3D artists.
• Work with the TD to answer pipeline related needs and anticipate problems
•  Support the Executive Producer in the creation of quotations, customer meetings and shoots if necessary

 Skills and profile 

• Good expertise and experience in all spheres of the 3D pipeline (modeling, texturing, look development, creature FX, lighting, animation and special effects) both technically and artistically
• Experience in a similar position in VFX for live action
• Advanced skills with Maya, Shotgun, Arnold and Nuke (Essential)
• Good knowledge of Katana, 3D Equalizer and Houdini (Trump)
• Excellent communication and management skills
• Fully bilingual (French, English)
• Ability to anticipate, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
