Hybride is thrilled to once again be part of the talented team of VFX artists to have collaborated on the Star Wars franchise’s latest highly anticipated prequel, Solo: A Star Wars Story, to be released in Quebec on May 25th.
Teaming up with Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), the Quebec-based studio produced spectacular and innovative visual effects for different sequences in the film, marking a 4th foray into the Star Wars universe and Hybride’s most important contribution on the franchise so far. “For all of us at Hybride, it’s a real privilege to be able to play a key role in the creation of the most famous intergalactic saga of all time” said Pierre Raymond, President and Head of Operations at Hybride. “Over the years, we’ve developed a strong relationship of trust with the team at ILM and each collaboration is an opportunity to push the limits of our know-how—both from a technical and creative point of view—thanks to the synergy between ILM and Hybride”, adds Raymond.
Directed by Ron Howard, Solo: A Star Wars Story is produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
