The Quebec Film and Television Council Renews Its Association with effects MTL

For the second consecutive year, the Quebec Film and Television Council is proud to be a part of effects MTL, the biggest creative and technology conference on the East Coast for the visual effects and animation industries. The event will be held on June 1 and 2 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.

Panel with Hollywood Producers

Again this year, the QFTC will invite several Hollywood producers as part of a Fam Tour that will include studio visits, business meetings and participation in a panel on Wednesday, June 1. The Council will also be present to promote the VFX-Montreal website and employment opportunities for those participating in the event.

“The QFTC was delighted with the first edition of the event, which for two days placed the local and international spotlight on the Quebec’s industry and creativity. Continuing to work with effects MTL points to the importance the Council places on this sector, which is experiencing strong economic growth,” noted Pierre Moreau, Managing Director and National Commissioner of the QFTC.

“Like the QFTC, effects MTL aims to unite the industry, increase its international presence, facilitate its economic development and encourage networking, which is why we are pleased continue to support this important partnership,” said Marine Lelièvre, Event and Programming Director of effects MTL.
