Role and responsibilities

• Adjust alignment, modulate depth and balance colour in a stereoscopic composite.
• Prepare and adjust some elements, either by extracting or rotoscoping.
• Stitch and blend live-action images.
• Adjust and improve depth and convergence.
• Seamlessly integrate live action, miniature and CGI elements.
• Colour correct and grade.
• Create graphic elements for stereoscopic 360.
• Follow production methodologies and develop creative approaches to problem-solving.

Selection criteria

• Minimum of 3 years in the VFX industry
• Fluency in French OR English language, both in written and verbal form
• Advanced level skills in stereoscopic compositing
• Critical eye for detail and colour precision
• Work experience on high profile stereoscopic productions
• Experience with Nuke
• Experience working from native 3D footage is an asset
• Experience in 2D to 3D conversion is a strong asset
• A knowledge of and interest in photography and practical lighting is helpful
