A hearty congratulations goes out to the entire Mokko team for their awe-inspiring work on Fox and National Geographic’s science-based docu-series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which has just been nominated for 12 Emmy nominations! Cosmos leads the non-fiction television nominations with nods in categories including Outstanding Special & Visual Effects and Outstanding Documentary or Non-Fiction Series!
Mokko Studio was chosen during the development of the series to create some of the spectacular visuals featured throughout 7 episodes. Their team of over 40 artists worked on nearly 200 shots, creating 37 assets during 11 months of production.
We are very proud of the work created by everyone involved in this out-of-this world project and are counting down to August 25th, when the Emmy Awards will air live on NBC.
