SUPERVISOR – AFTER EFFECTS COMPOSITING

Team management 

·        Manage a team of approximately seven to ten people.

·        Assign, supervise and direct scenes to the composing team while coaching them.

·        Inform the team of any changes on the project.

Production 

·        Collaborate with all the supervisors to meet the desired quality standards.

·        Ensure project deadlines are met and collaborate with the production team.

Research and development

·        Develop and create techniques and templates to facilitate compositing in After Effects including effects such as particle movements for example.

Other tasks 

·        Participate in the artists’ selection and ensure the proper integration of new artists.

In addition to knowledge of After Effects and past AE compositing experience (minimum 3 to 5 years), we are looking for someone who has the following abilities:

·        Understanding 3D space in After Effects.

·        Knowledge of Toon Boom and the 2D industry.

·        Experience as a supervisor or team leader.

·        Be domiciled in Quebec or Ontario.

·        Knowledge of English since some team members only speak English.

The project

Contract duration 

This is a contract starting as soon as possible and ending at the end of May 2022.
