Artist Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Develops, maintains, and redefines competitive employee engagement and support strategies (compensation, terms of employment, perks, benefits)
  • Manages artist reviews, artist training, and project scheduling to help develop and nurture career growth
  • Carries out current HR policies and procedures; implements new policies as and when required
  • Advises on employee relations and conflict resolution techniques; provides training and coaching to employees in management and supervision position
  • Deals with disciplinary and grievance procedures and practices as needed
  • Leads continuous feedback cycle through project mid and post mortems, end-of-show and annual performance review processes
  • Represent and nourish studio culture through thoughtful, transparent, and focused leadership
  • Represents Scanline VFX at career fairs and industry events; establishes relationships with universities and film schools to promote our company and build talent in the industry

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Film Production, HRM, or Communications
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in an artist management or resource management in visual effects, animation or gaming
  • Required Skills/Competencies
  • Understanding of CG terminology, and a thorough understanding of the processes and disciplines involved in CG post-production
  • Proven administrative, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with a diverse range of personality types, perspectives and talents
